Perfect day

I'm not going to lie. Some days I really struggle with being a stay-at-home mom. Being puked on, changing diapers, dealing with tantrums and trying to entertain a busybody one year old is tough and such a drastic change from my previous life.

And then there are days that are absolute pure perfection. As in bright blue skies, the birds are chirping, Caleb is a perfect angel and I laugh more than I've ever laughed before. Yesterday was one of those perfect days.

I didn't take many pictures because we were too busy having fun at the park and playing hide and seek in the guest room (Caleb's new favorite game), but here are a few pics of my sweet angel.

    1. Great post. Caleb is cuter and cuter in every pic and I could not agree with you more on the challenges of parenting. There are days that make me wonder if I am really a better mom trying to "balance" a little professional with a lot of mommy....especially when the tot makes me want to pull my hair out! The good days do really make the challenging ones worth it!

    2. And now my more important question - can you please share some insight into the excitement over the pond right now? What is it like to be in that crazy city....and when are you going to share pics from all the pre-wedding festivities I KNOW you are attending?!?!?! :)

    If only I could turn back the clock 30 years and get puked on just ONE more time ... sigh. I laff at these pix & awwwwwwwww ... such a precious little guy!
