Royal Wedding Pics

Watching the royal wedding in London was a truly special experience. It was such a unifying event and I'm so lucky I got to be here to see it in person. Well, it's not like I was at the church or anything (damn invite lost in the mail), but I still felt like a part of the whole celebration.

My absolute favorite part was seeing everyone stand up and cheer, whistle and wave flags when they showed the Queen on the big screen. It reminded me so much of my own "Queen Jean" (my beloved grandmother) and I know she would have loved all the goings-on with the wedding.

The day turned out great, despite being overcast. We spent all day at the park and consumed way too much champagne and cider. The babies loved playing outside all day without being rushed to activities or naps. Such a special day and such a beautiful couple.

As promised, here are a few pics...

BTW- that's my friend Kate with Farrah and Tamsyn with Sofia

Yep- that's a conga line. With a giant pig. You didn't have that at your wedding??

Flying Sofia!

Caleb is a weirdo and likes to bite Lee's head

And....CHOMP!

Sofia was obsessed with the BBQ Pig

  3. That looks like SO much fun. But it's so sad that potentially the pinnacle event of Caleb's had to come at such a young age ;)

Justin is right - the photo of Caleb about to bite Lee a new one is hilarious! My fave. Also, the last pick is eat-your-heart-out adorable.
