TALLAHASSEE FRIENDS
My BFF Caroline, HS friend Paige and new friend Patrick came to visit us in London (after I met them in Paris for my first weekend away from Caleb). We had such a great time and I'm so thankful they came all the way across the pond for a visit. Check out Caroline's blog for details on our wonderful adventures.

MARTY AND WENDY
Right after our Tally friends left, Marty and Wendy arrived to visit us. Well....really to visit Caleb, but we'll pretend it was to see us too. :)
We went all around London and took a day trip to Canterbury which was absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to see them again in one week!
HALLOWEEN
Caleb was the most delicious lobster for Halloween. What do you expect from a gal who likes to cook??
MARATHON
As most of you know, Lee ran the NYC marathon. And his time was absolutely amazing! He ran 26.2 miles in 3 hours and 15 minutes (and was disappointed!). I'm so proud of him and I know next time he can break 3 hours. GO LEE!
SURPRISE NY VISIT
At the last minute, Caleb and I decided to make the trek to NYC to watch Lee run the marathon. That meant we got visit with friends and family we didn't think we'd get to see until Xmas. Such a treat!
FATHER CHRISTMAS
The week after we came back from NY, Caleb got to meet Father Christmas at Harrods. Caleb did great and took right to Father Christmas, pulling his beard in approval. Unfortunately, they don't let you take your own pictures, but here we are in line waiting for the big moment. I promise Caleb was having a good time despite the grouchy face.
THANKSGIVING
We didn't have a chance to take pictures, but we had the opportunity to celebrate Caleb's first Thanksgiving in our new home with wonderful friends. I cooked the traditional feast (including my favorite stuffing- yum!) and we had a true international gathering. We had 5 Americans (including Caleb and his little buddy James), a Brit, a German, a French, and a Turk/Filipino born in Botswana. Such a fun group of people!
SICKIE
Poor Caleb had an atrocious stomach bug last week. I think I changed more diapers last week than I did the first 9 months of his life! Luckily, he seems to be doing better now, although his top two teeth are coming in so he's still a bit miserable. Hoping my poor baby returns to his cheerful self soon!
CHRISTMAS
Is almost here! Yay yay yay! In case I don't get a chance to blog before xmas (which is a very real possibility), Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to you all!
As always, I like to include a little bit of random Caleb awesomeness. Do you like his new car??
LOVE all the new pictures!!! Can't wait to see you!
ReplyDeleteI miss that little guy...and his parents too!! ;) Can't wait to see you guys SOON...12/22 is on the calendar!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this post...Caleb is truly a precious boy! Where do the days go?!? I swear, I should really be blogging more frequently now, right? Instead I am chasing a child and trying to be super mom/wife. Sick, really sick. Will ya'll make the jump southwest for Christmas? Hope to see you....
