I'm off to Paris for the weekend where I'm meeting friends to celebrate my dear friend Caroline's 30th birthday. On my way to the train station this morning (at 5am) I had a revelation. Passing by Big Ben it hit me- I live in London! It made me realize I have so many thing for which to be grateful- a wonderful husband, an amazing son, a loving family, good friends, and seemingly never ending opportunities to have wonderful adventures. How lucky I am!
This trip also marks the first time I am really going to be away from Caleb. I have only not been by his side for approximately 12 hours since his birth. I know- I need to cut the cord. Wish us both luck (and Lee, too!) as we head into new territory.
