New house!

Well, the title of the post says it all! We are in our new home and it is AMAZING. So much better than, to steal Lee's description, the one-bedroom heat box we've been in for the past 2 weeks. London has been having a "heat wave" which means temperatures in the 70's and lower 80's. I know, I hear you all my Tally people- I'm laughing with you! However, in a tiny apartment with no AC and no ventilation, it feels like 95 degrees!

Lee, Caleb and I moved on Sunday morning into a very sparsely decorated 4 bedroom house. Right now we're sleeping on a mattress on the floor and Caleb is in a Pack n Play. Lee went and bought two deck chairs which we have in our living room (they will eventually live in our little garden out back)- and that's the only furniture we have.

We are eating off of plastic plates which we wash and reuse so as not to feel guilty about ruining the environment. But without any cookware we are being creative in our home cooking (meaning frozen dinners, pre-made Jamie Oliver meals which I'll tell you more about later, etc.). Luckily it's a great excuse to try the nearby restaurants.

We don't have internet in the house yet so apologies for being MIA for a while and slow replies to emails. I'm sitting in a Starbucks right now trying to get this post done before Caleb decides he's had enough.

And right on cue, he's getting a little fussy so I need to run. More to come soon!
